About Stephany Taylor – Albuquerque Wedding & Portrait Photographer
I’m Stephany Taylor, a passionate wedding and portrait photographer based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. My journey in photography began in 2017 when I started as an assistant to an established photographer. Over time, I had the chance to shoot a few weddings on my own. When my mentor decided to retire, I saw it as an opportunity to launch my own business. So, in February 2020, I started Stephany Taylor Photography, right at the start of a challenging time for social events. Despite the hurdles, my dedication to building a business that I’m truly proud of has never wavered.
What I love most about photography is meeting new people and capturing the special moments that families will cherish for years to come. My passion for photography started back in grade school, but it wasn’t until 2014, after a memorable trip to Japan, that I took my first online class and dived into learning about portrait photography and using a professional camera.
When I’m not behind the camera, you can usually find me in sweatpants, enjoying quality time with my little one – playing with Legos or playing Minecraft, and indulging in anime, Star Wars, or other favorite fandoms. I’m also dedicated to supporting others in the photography community because I firmly believe in community over competition.

Your wedding day is filled with countless moments—big, small, and everything in between. Having a second photographer ensures that none of those moments go unnoticed.
With two photographers, we can capture multiple angles and perspectives at once. While I focus on the emotional exchange of vows, my second photographer can capture the reaction of your guests. While I photograph you walking down the aisle, my second can document your partner’s expression as they see you for the first time.
A wedding day moves fast, and with so much happening at once, a second photographer helps create a complete visual story. Whether it’s covering both partners getting ready in separate locations or capturing cocktail hour while we're off taking portraits, having an extra set of eyes ensures that every moment is beautifully documented.

How do you photograph weddings?
I love being by your side to help you before your wedding day. I'll send you a guide to help you organizing your day, the best moments for the couple photos, the different lights... and it's really exciting for me to receive photos of your dress, shoes, invits...! On your wedding day, all I want to capture is the feelings, the mood, the emotions, the calm and crazy moments and all the details that make your wedding unique. That's why I decided to photograph non-traditional and laid-back wedding.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm Manchester based in UK and yes I love to travel! If you want me to photograph your story, it will require a travel fee, depending on where it takes place. When will we get our photos?
Your will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within maximum 8 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story). You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, and also order prints!

For a 8 hours coverage wedding, you will receive between 400 to 600 fully edited images. I always choose quality rather than quantity and that's why lorem ipsum dolor sit imet I will choose the best and more significant photos to tell your story.

Hi! I’m Stephany—a New Mexico-based wedding photographer who’s all about capturing the real stuff: the quiet glances, the belly laughs, the in-between moments that mean everything. I’ve been photographing weddings professionally since 2017, and my approach has always been relaxed, people-first, and rooted in connection. I don’t believe in forcing perfect poses or turning your day into a photo shoot. When I’m not behind the camera, I’m hanging with my kiddo and husband, nerding out over the many fandoms I love, or swapping encouragement with others in the photography world.
