Wedding & Elopement - FAQ's
WHAT IS THE DEPOSIT?
The deposit is 25% of your package. The deposit and a signed contract are due the day of booking to reserve the date. The remainder of your balance is to be paid in full the week before your Wedding or Elopement. I do offer a payment plan where you can pay monthly, every other month, or any combination you would like. The full amount must be paid in full however, prior to your wedding date.
DO YOU CHARGE A TRAVEL FEE?
Yes, if your wedding is outside of the Albuquerque metro area I will charge a travel fee. Every travel fee is specific to that event. It is based off mileage traveled and if accommodations are needed. I calculate the mileage using the federal mileage rate of 62.5 cents per mile. If a hotel room is needed the night before or after your event than this will also be taken into account. Your event is unique to you and so is the travel fee.
WILL THERE BE A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER? DO I EVEN NEED ONE? AND IS THERE AN ADDITIONAL FEE?
I highly recommend having a second photographer at your wedding. First, to capture multiple angles of all the events. This is always so great to see because each photographer can then focus on each of your reactions instead of trying to bounce between both of you. Having a second photographer also allows us to cover more events during your big day and photograph other people at your wedding. While I photograph your family formal portraits the second photographer can be photographing your wedding party or other VIP’s you have there. All Packages can be upgraded to include a second photographer. The fee is based off the package you select but starts at $50 per hour.
HOW LONG AFTER THE WEDDING DO WE GET TO SEE THE PHOTOS?
I love sending you a sneak peek a few days after your wedding, usually around 5 images, which you can download for sharing. The entire online gallery will be delivered 4 – 6 weeks after your wedding date. The USB drive will be delivered either in person or mailed to you depending on your preferences.
HOW ARE THE PHOTOS DELIVERED?
Your photos will be delivered both in an online gallery and a USB drive. The reason for both is simple; to save you time! Downloading an entire wedding gallery can take you hours, which let’s be honest, you probably don’t have. To make it easier for you, the online gallery allows you to see all your images quickly, download your favorites, and, most importantly, share with your family or in-laws, so you don’t have to make a special trip to share your images.
DO YOU OFFER ANY PRODUCTS LIKE PRINTS?
Yes, I highly recommend printing photos from your wedding. We all LOVE seeing the digital versions of the images, but the truth is that digital formats can fail. Most USB drive manufacturers estimate that their devices will last 10 years. Plus, what happens if your USB drive is stolen, deleted, or simply misplaced? This is why printing your photos is so important, even if you only print one! I make ordering prints simple, easy, and accessible to anyone you wish to share with. This means that, even if you personally don’t want prints, your mom, grandma, friends, cousin, auntie, etc.. can order prints once you share the online gallery with them.

HOW LONG DO YOU KEEP MY WEDDING IMAGES?
The online gallery will be available for up to 1 year from your wedding date. I also keep an offline digital backup of your images for 2 years. If your USB drive fails, is stolen, deleted, or misplaced, you can always contact me for another USB drive. Most importantly, always backup your USB drive! Additional USB drives are $150 after your first anniversary date.
